I gave this Book 5 Stars for Several Reasons! First, I would say "Author Shmel Carter is a very talented Writer.I read her Novel while vacationing in Charlotte North Carolina, which is the setting for Hood Affair! I actually had the opportunity to go to all the places where Niecee and Q went in the Novel! The Pages in this book came Alive as I read each chapter! I would highly recommend this Novel to All Lovers of Epic Romance and Unwavering Love! Can't wait for Part 2!!!Product details

Good but short..I enjoyed this read..Q need to get it together...Niecee definitely surprised me..I think Peanut is going to be a problem..and I hope leeaka isn't pregnant..heading too read part2
The book was ok but it could have been much better had the author provided more details. It felt so rushed and the characters barely had any conversations. There were many errors that could have been fixed by simply getting it professionally edited. It was way too short but for the price it was a good length.
OMG!!!... Wish it was longer, but I loved it anyway..It was going along and then BAM, WTH!!!, Niecee handled her own, I Sho didnt see that coming, WHAT....Cant wait until Pt 2, please say its in progress and coming soon..and a lot longer... somebody needs to get at Leeka though, she stalking from the shadows...lol, keep it up..loving your work..
Through all the ups & downs she stayed in the relationship even though she knew it probably would have been better had she just packed up and left. We always know when it's time to leave yet, we stick around thinking things will get better. Now it seems a whole lot more is at stake than just a broken heart but, we'll have to wait to read part 2 to find out how it goes.
This was a great book, a little too short but still was great. About to start on Part 2, hope I'm not disappointed. That will never be the case... Lol.... Great job....
I really enjoyed this book...it really kept my attention. I like the characters too..I love to read urban books about professional black women..because even though we come from the Hood we can still be successful...this is the first book I've read by this author and I enjoyed the story, so I will read more her..bout to read part too now bc I wanna know what's gonna happen next..
I can't stand stories that has potential but the writer seems to get bored ( rushed finishing) or the writer try to squeeze a story into a sequel when a sequel isn't really necessary. This story was ok, I thought the erotic parts were a little lame, it wasn't enough description for me. I also thought it was too short. Yeah I'll read part 2 when it's free, I wouldn't pay for it. I am anxious to see if leeka is really pregnant & if he's the dad. I enjoyed the story. I thought it was way too short to allow me to get to know the characters.
