Ian has only two goals in life avoid letting his best friend talk him into attending college parties, and follow the red-haired cutie without getting caught. I've read everything by this author, and here is yet another book that doesn't disappoint. This is not usually what I like to read; it's a bit dark and involves demons (which I'm not much of a fan of), but in true A. Lynn Powers form, she manages to bring just enough humor into the story to make it impossible to put down. There is also quite a bit of romance in this book as well, which surprised me. It's very cute, innocent young love, which is nice to see in a book for a change.There is so much going on this book... how do I even explain what it is about?
Ian has just started out at college, and he's interested in the cute redhead on campus. But she's shy, and it takes him a way to get her to notice him. Finally, when she does, Ian has to deal with Khali's BIG brother, Eilam (I really liked Eilam throughout the story!). Then Ian's best friend/roommate (Tommy), who is way too much of a party-boy, is killed in an accident, and Ian discovers that Eilam had something to do with it! But it's not what you think. That's when the paranormal/supernatural elements come into play, and Tommy is brought back to life as an incubus! Tommy the Incubus starts running around campus, interrupting the dreams of students and causing a bunch of mayhem. And then there are so many more secrets that Ian uncovers about Khali and her "family"... to put it mildly: it's awesome.

This book is very well written and captivating! I love supporting fresh authors and A Lynn Powers is one to support and enjoy!!!
I have several other books from this author and they're always a well told story laced with humor and authenticity. Out Of Eternity did not disappoint me and delivered what I've come to expect and more (including a cute yet ultra creepy green incubus). I highly recommend!
